PROCURA+ CONFERENCE

The Procura+ Conference is the key event of the Procura+ Network. For over 25 years, the Conference has been where sustainable, circular and innovation procurement policy meets practice, and where procurement innovations have originated! The latest Procura+ Conference was held on 13 and 14 March 2024 in The City of Lisbon (Portugal). In the Protuguese capital representatives of the European Commission, Mayors of leading cities, business leaders, researchers and some of the brightest procurement minds got the opportunity to:

Experience a varied programme highlighting how public procurement can contribute to the advancement of social, innovative, circular and sustainable policies.
Be inspired to think more strategically by inspiring speakers

PROCURA+ SEMINARS

The Procura+ series of seminars provide an opportunity for face-to-face exchange on sustainable procurement. Participants include purchasers from all levels of governments, suppliers, policy-makers and multipliers. It is also the meeting space for all Procura+ European Sustainable Procurement Network participants.

PROCURA+ WEBINARS

Procura+ webinars provide practical knowledge on emerging and important topics in SPP. With a focus on real life examples from Procura+ Participants, they are a chance to find out about best practices within the network and the potential for further connections and exchange.

PROCURA+ COMMUNITY CAFES

Procura+ Community Cafes

15 June 2021: an open space for a virtual meeting of Procura+ participants and strategic partners to (re-)connect, exchange and act after the covid pandemic.
13 October 2021: Procura+ participants, such as the City of Oslo (NO), the Province of Zeeland (NL) and RESECO (FR), sharedtheir work with the network and discussed their Sustainable Procurement Plans, their Zero Emission Construction Sites and how networking is an essential tool to face SPP related issues.
9 March 2022: Speakers and panellists from the Scottish Environmental Protection Agency (UK), the Government of Catalonia (ES), the City of Copenhagen (DK) and the Government of Flanders (BE), participants focused on How to Address Challenges in Sustainable Public Procurement.
15 March 2023: Exploration of How to Reduce CO2 Emissions with Procurement Criteria. A representative from the City of Tampere (FI) presented an example of a case study of street renovation from the city. The participants had the opportunity to discuss, engage and ask questions.
30 January 2024: In collaboration with the CO2 Performance Ladder, a tool to drive structural decarbonisation, participants had the opportunity to listen and discuss the good practices presented by the Government of Flanders (BE) and Rijkswaterstaat (NL).
